Spooney Green is an idyllic converted 18th Century farm house guest house, providing high quality bed and breakfast. We are situated on the outskirts of Keswick in the Northern Lake District, at the foot of Latrigg, but only 15 minutes walk from the centre of Keswick.
The house is set in one and a half acres of beautiful garden, which is a haven for wildlife, including red squirrels and a large variety of garden birds. There is plenty of parking space available, and we have secure storage for mountain bikes. We also have drying facilities for your equipment and a good supply of Lake District maps and guide books for guests to use.
If you are looking for a quiet retreat, off the beaten track, then Spooney Green is ideal, boasting one of the best views in the Lake District. We pride ourselves on a comfortable country house atmosphere.
We can arrange guided walks, mountain bike hire, paragliding lessons, or you might just like to sit in the garden and take in the view!
